SKIN BOOSTERS
Skin boosters like Seventy Hyal and Profhilo are composed of non cross linked hyaluronic acid, that enhance skin quality and skin laxity. The deep dermal hydration has a knock on effect on the collagen and elastin production, effectively combating dryness, fine lines, and the early signs of skin ageing. Particularly beneficial if you are in your 30s and 40s, in search for a more youthful and revitalised complexion. Skin Boosters are renowned for their natural skin rejuvenation and highly sought-after options that work in synergy with Anti wrinkle injections and Dermal Fillers.

Profhilo is strategically injected using the 5-Point BAP technique to address skin laxity and enhance skin texture and firmness. Seventy Hyal, administered through a papule technique, provides deep hydration and targets issues like fine lines and premature skin ageing on the face and neck. If you're dealing with dark circles and the tear trough area, Eyebella is the recommended choice. SKIN BOOSTERS WE USE
EYEBELLA
Eyebella Skin Booster is a specialised treatment designed to enhance the look of the delicate eye area by improving the appearance of dark circles and fine lines. This treatment is ideal for those looking to rejuvenate and brighten the under-eye region; however, it does not address under-eye hollows. Eyebella is administered using a 27g X 30mm cannula, minimising the risk of bruising and allowing for precise placement in the thin and delicate area around the eyes. Optimal results are typically achieved with a series of two treatments spaced one month apart.
SEVENTY HYAL
Seventy Hyal stands out among Skin Boosters with its high HA molecular weight, offering effectiveness comparable to Profhilo. What truly distinguishes Seventy Hyal is its exceptional injection versatility in injecting throughout the face and neck, effectively addressing fine lines and areas with skin laxity. Interestingly, many clients who were previously loyal to Profhilo are now choosing Seventy Hyal due to its cost-effectiveness and remarkable results.
PROFHILO
Profhilo is highly sought after by clients, due to its reputation and popularity in the media. Known for its 5 Point Bap technique on the face and 9 Point technique on the neck, Profhilo excels at addressing skin laxity concerns. It offers remarkable bio-remodeling properties that noticeably enhance overall skin quality. However, it's important to note that while Profhilo significantly improves skin laxity and quality, it does not provide the lifting effect it may be expected to deliver.

Step 1
Skin Booster treatment begins with a consultation to assess the client’s areas of concern and goals. A signed consent form is obtained and a before treatment picture is taken.
Step 2 + 3
Step 2
Decide on the injection positions that meet with the treatment goals, and cleanse the skin with antiseptic, mark the treatment area.
Step 3
Depending on the Skin Booster used, apply the topical numbing cream in specific injection points. Leave on for 10-15 minutes and wipe off before injections.
Step 4
Profhilo - Inject 0.2ml in a 60% angle on each of the 5 Bap points, on each side.
Seventy Hyal - Starting from the right side jaw, inject small papules 1cm apart, covering the entire cheek areas and forehead. No need to inject on the nose, chin or the contour of the face that is not visible when the face is front on.
Eyebella - 27g x 30mm cannula. Make an entry point first with the 25g needle, followed by inserting the cannula with a slight twist action. Inject 0.5ml on each side smoothly. Finish with a cold compress and press the product to evenly settle it in the infected area.
Step 5+6
Step 5
After the injections, apply cold compress and gently manipulate the product bumps to ensure an even distribution of the product and reduce the risk of lumpiness or unevenness.
Step 6
Give aftercare advice, apply Illumine Moisturiser SPF 50, and reschedule the follow up appointment.
Aftercare
Refrain from engaging in strenuous activities that could lead to sweating, as this can impact the treatment's effectiveness. Avoid applying makeup for at least the first 24 hours, allowing your skin to heal naturally. If you notice any product bumps, do not massage or disturb them; they will naturally disperse in the dermis within 5 days. In case of bruising, apply arnica gel and, if necessary, use concealer after the initial healing period. If the skin is reactive, use a cold compress or aloe vera gel.

FAQs
What's the difference between Profhilo and Seventy Hyal?
Having worked with both for several years, it often comes down to client preference. Both have their merits and varied price points. While Profhilo has a strong reputation, making it a frequent choice among experienced skin booster clients, we believe its acclaim is slightly exaggerated. That said, its recognition keeps it in demand. However, the tides are shifting, with newer skin boosters like Seventy Hyal challenging Profhilo's dominance in terms of performance and value for money
What's the best treatment option for ageing skin?
Depends, on your age and the severity of the problem. If you are in your 30’s and 40’s, we would recommend combining it with PRP to maintain a naturally youthful face. However, if you are mature and not ageing gracefully, you should combine Skin Boosters with Anti Wrinkle injections and Dermal Fillers.
How long before I can resume my fitness regime?
Give it a few days until the skin reactions and bumps have subsided and the skin is smoother. Just to let you know, Intense gym workout has been known to wear out/degrade skin boosters and dermal fillers rapidly.
What's the difference between dermal fillers and skin boosters?
Dermal fillers and skin boosters both utilise hyaluronic acid, but they serve distinct purposes. Skin boosters are non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid and primarily aim to enhance skin quality. They are relatively short-lasting. On the other hand, dermal fillers are cross-linked and thicker, designed to add volume, lift, and contour the face. Skin boosters, when started early, can help prevent skin aging. In contrast, once aging has already taken its toll and volume loss is evident, dermal fillers provide an instant solution by restoring volume and can last up to 12 months.
Can I combine skin boosters with Mesotherapy injections?
Certainly! With the Mesotherapy injections we primarily target the basal layer of the skin, addressing issues like pigmentation, blemishes, and overall skin dullness. On the other hand, skin boosters work on rejuvenating the dermis, focusing on combating signs of skin aging such as fine lines, wrinkles, and skin texture. By combining these two treatments, target different skin layers for optimal results.
