HydraClear is a non-invasive facial and suitable for most people, however there are some precautions to follow.
If you have any of the following conditions, please inform your therapist so she can avoid the probe that relates to your conditions.
Heart Condition, Diabetes, Pacemaker, Epilepsy, Hearing difficulty, Herpes Simplex.
- Ro-Accutane- wait 6 months.
- Skin diseases active in the treatment area, wait until the skin is clear.
- Botox clients should not have EMS, Radio Frequency and Microcurrent probes; they can erase the botox effects very quickly.
- Do not have Hydra Dermabrasion Vortex probe where the Dermal Filler is placed as the suction may move the location of the filler.

1: The Consultation

2: PRE TREATMENT ADVICE
- If you have sensitive, allergy-prone skin, or intolerances to any skincare ingredients. (check the full ingredient list for these products).
- It is recommended to perform a patch test for the Peels 24 hours prior to having it for the first time.
- If you have any contagious facial conditions that have the potential to spread, wait until the skin is clear.

Step 1
Dispense a pea-sized amount of Clarify Cleanser onto fingertips and apply uniformly to the face. Emulsify with water using circular motions to dissolve makeup and debris. Remove cleanser using facial gauze soaked in lukewarm water.

Apply Clarify Toner generously to the face. Glide the scrubber outwardly across the entire face for 5 minutes, reapplying toner as needed for smooth movement. Finish by removing residue with two damp cotton pads.
Step 3
Carry out the Diamond vortex-extraction nozzle with the Illumine Peel Solution starting with the right chin, cheek and forehead in outward direction supporting the skin and adjusting the vacuum pressure on areas of the lower face where skin may be sagging.
Step 4
Take a teaspoon of the Clarify Peel Mask and water to easily spread it across the face and neck, using your fingertips and gentle circular motions. Allow it to work for 10 minutes, then carefully remove using damp gauze pads soaked in Clarify Toner ensuring all mask residue is wiped off.
Step 5
Use High Frequency or LED Therapy:
- Apply a thin layer of Clarify moisturiser to the entire face, apply a facial gauze and carry out high frequency using the mushroom electrode on around setting 5, using circular motions over the entire face for approximately 4-5 minutes.
- Set the LED probes to the Blue light setting and glide them systematically across the face. Pause at each position for 20 seconds for a total duration of 5-7 minutes.
- Apply the Illumine BB cream to complete the facial.
Aftercare
- For direct sun exposure, use Illumine BB cream as a shield.
- Avoid heat-intensive settings and facial steamers to prevent overstimulating sebum production and enlarging pores.
- Steer clear of products containing mineral oil and lanolin, as they can clog pores.
- Instead of alcohol-based toners that can strip the skin, preserve your skin’s pH balance with the Clarify Toner and Clarify Moisturiser.
FAQ
I’ve always had steaming in my facials over the years, why do you not recommend it?
Steaming is old school, it can pose challenges for those with oily skin, as it stimulates sebum production, aggravating oiliness and leading to enlarged pores—perfect breeding grounds for impurities and congestion. Moreover, once the skin shifts into 'sweat mode' after steaming, its absorption capabilities diminish for at least 20 minutes. This hinders the optimal penetration of serums and skincare actives, depriving the skin of their goodness. We find ultrasonic scrubbers are a better alternative to steam.
For which purposes are some of the probes on your HydraDerm machine designed?

I have Dermal Fillers on my face, is this facial suitable for me?
Not recommended.
The vacuum suction in the vortex tip can potentially move the filler from their location, take it as a precaution and avoid the areas where there is filler injected.
