Aftercare Advice
To maximise the effectiveness of the Illumine serum, avoid integrating products loaded with mineral oil, lanolin, or alcohol into your regime. These ingredients can disrupt the skin's natural acid mantle and alter its pH, potentially compromising the serum's absorption and performance.

FAQs
What sets a microneedling serum apart from a Stem cell serum?
Micro-needling serums, with their lightweight consistency and smaller molecular structure, are ideal for both topical application and absorption into the dermis. On the other hand, the Ageless Stem Cells serum is formulated with a denser consistency and larger molecules, to ensure they work in the optimal depth within the epidermal layer.
Why is the Ageless Stem Cells serum only formulated for micro-needling?
The Ageless Stem Cell serum is specifically formulated with our patented thicker consistency with a larger molecular structure to only target the germinating layer of the skin with precision. This is because the primary regenerative action of stem cells occurs within this layer, rather than the dermis.
Why shouldn't Ageless Stem Cells serum be used topically or in the dermis?
Due to its thicker consistency and larger molecular structure, our Ageless Stem Cell serum is specifically formulated to target the basal layer of the epidermis. This is because the primary regenerative action of stem cells occurs within this layer, rather than the dermis.
Applying it topically without the microneedling does not fully harness its potential benefits, and does not reach the depth where it's most effective.
Why shouldn't the Ageless Stem Cells serum be used topically?
The Stem cells serum has a thicker consistency and a large molecule formulation, therefore applying it topically will not harness its full benefits. Skin concerns are embedded in the germinating layer of the skin, which will not be reached without the help of micro-needling.
How often should I use the serum for optimal results?
For best results, it's recommended to incorporate the serum into your skincare regime 2-3 times a week in the evening.
Are there any side effects associated with the serum?
The Ageless Stem Cells serum is designed to be gentle yet effective. However, as with all skincare products, individual reactions can vary. If you notice any irritation, redness, or discomfort, discontinue use and consult with our skincare therapist.
Why is it not recommended to use a topical anaesthetic with micro-needling with stem cells
Needling at a superficial depth ensures minimal discomfort during the process. Additionally, while topical anaesthetics might offer relief, they can drive the skin's natural nutrients deeper, potentially diminishing their beneficial effects during the treatment. It's essential to maximise these inherent benefits for optimal results.
