Why can’t I apply makeup after electrotherapy treatments?

Post-electrotherapy, your skin is sensitive and pores are open and busy absorbing the active ingredients from the products. Applying makeup immediately after interferes with this process and risks blocking pores, which can escalate into breakouts or irritation. Makeup might also diminish the gel's benefits. 

For optimal results and to avoid complications, allow your skin a 24-hour breather post-treatment before applying makeup.
