Course Overview

During the first day of your training, we place a strong emphasis on Phlebotomy, providing extensive live model practice to boost your confidence and competence levels. What truly sets our course apart are our groundbreaking PRP protocols and innovative infusions which include the integration of Vitamin C serum with Plasma and Skin needling to effectively target and resolve skin discoloration issues. Additionally, we introduce the powerful combination of HA Skin Booster with Plasma injections, offering a treatment regime that promotes youthful and rejuvenated skin. This underscores our commitment to teach you some of the most cutting-edge anti-aging treatments to offer in your salon setting.

Unit 1: PHLEBOTOMY

The initial day of our course is dedicated to imparting essential knowledge about health and safety protocols, with a particular focus on Phlebotomy, a critical component of PRP treatments. In Phlebotomy, the process involves drawing approximately 2X 8ml tubes of blood, typically from the arm, using a sterile needle and collection tube. Subsequently, the tubes go into a centrifuge machine to separate the plasma, which has a high concentration of platelets and growth factors which is the core of the PRP treatments.

Unit 2: PLASMA INJECTIONS

Within our PRP treatments, we uniquely use  plasma with Vitamin C and Glutathione serum in the Vampire facial, a potent combination for treating pigmentation precisely within the basal layer. Additionally, we integrate HA Skin Booster with Plasma to rejuvenate aging skin. Notably, the growth factors present in the plasma play a pivotal role in revitalising and stimulating the damaged and aging skin structure. These advanced PRP protocols have consistently delivered superior results when compared to conventional PRP treatments that rely solely on plasma. . 

Unit 3: HAIR LOSS 

 Hair loss is one of the most concerns with men and PRP rich in growth factors and platelets is one of the most effective solutions when the hair is thinning or the follicles have started to slow down. You will learn how to skillfully carry out injections on the scalp to stimulate dormant hair follicles, encouraging them to enter a growth phase, leading to increased hair density and thicker hair. You will have the opportunity to work on clients that have varied hair loss patterns that require a course of treatments.

Prerequisites

CPD Level 5 Diploma in Aesthetics with Skin needling and Mesotherapy experience.

Structure of the Course

DAY 1:

A theory powerpoint presentation on phlebotomy is followed by a phlebotomy practice session where students put a strong focus on Health & Safety protocols, working in a safe and sterile environment and mastering the technique of drawing blood with precision and care. 

This sets the stage for the day 1 of our course, PRP Injections, where you will practise phlebotomy techniques on many models and master how to skillfully extract plasma and carry out all 3 PRP treatments safely and effectively. 

DAY 2:

On the second day you will learn the theory relevant to PRP and spent the rest of the day carrying out treatments on models that are booked to have Plasma combined with HA Skin boosters injections, Hair Loss and Vampire facials. The practice session is designed to give you invaluable practical experience and enhance your confidence in delivering medical grade treatments, maintaining all the health and safety protocols.
