Course Overview

  • UNIT 1 HYDRADERM FACIALS

  • UNIT 2 CHEMICAL PEELS

  • UNIT 3 SKIN NEEDLING

Your Hydraderm facial training begins with learning how to use and theory and functions of the electrotherapy probes, including Microcurrent, Ultrasound, Vacuum suction, EMS, High-frequency, and Ultrasonic Scrubber. This course provides you with comprehensive preparation to carry out precise facial techniques, using appropriate products for different skin types and conditions with the Revival skin care products. Your training will enable you to customise the Revival skin care products with the probes and deliver exceptional HydraDerm and HydraLift facials within your practice.

This unit teaches Revival superficial Chemical peels using a combination of AHA and BHA acids, fortified with antioxidant vitamins and Aloe vera extracts that target conditions within the deeper layers of the skin. Students learn the properties and functions of chemical peels, explore different types and strengths of peels.

The training in microneedling covers the use of the automated dermapen. Students learn to target specific skin concerns with precision, addressing them in the appropriate skin layer. Skin needling techniques with Dermapen and Meso serums injure the dermis and initiate a repair process that improves acne scarring, lacklustre skin, and premature skin aging.

Prerequisites

FAQ'S

As a beginner in aesthetics, what is the fastest way for me to enter the industry?

Our CPD Level 5 Diploma provides a swift entry into the aesthetics field, equipping you with essential practical skills. Upon completion, you'll be ready to secure insurance and gain entry into ITEC Ofqual Level 3 and 4 qualifications, laying a solid foundation for your career.

What happens to my CPD qualification when legislation demands Ofqual regulated qualifications?

The ITEC Ofqual Level 4 Diploma aligns closely with our CPD Level 5 Diploma. Therefore, you won't need to repeat the practical training; your CPD Diploma acts as a prerequisite for Ofqual Level 4, for which you'll need to enroll.

Frequently asked questionHow does the training differ between the CPD Level 5 Diploma and Ofqual Level 4 and 5?

The CPD Diploma focuses on hands-on training to get you work-ready quickly, while Ofqual qualifications dive deeper into theory, require extensive assignments, and involve multiple practical exams, offering a more comprehensive educational approach.

Why is it recommended to complete the CPD Diploma first?

Completing the CPD Diploma allows for immediate industry entry currently and income generation. When regulatory changes occur, you'll already have the practical experience and only need to complete Ofqual-specific requirements. This diploma also sets a foundation for pursuing Ofqaul qualifications.

Frequently asked questionWhy should I pursue Ofqual qualifications if I've already completed the CPD Level 5 Diploma and paid for it?

The CPD Level 5 Diploma was a pioneering qualification when no regulated aesthetics qualifications existed. As the industry evolves, regulated qualifications have become available, offering in-depth training and stringent examination protocols. Pursuing Ofqual qualifications ensures compliance with industry regulations that are imminent.

If I've completed the CPD Level 5 Diploma, how should I transition to the Ofqual pathway?

Your next steps depend on your areas of interest. For electrical facials, begin with the VTCT Level 3 Award in Facial Electrotherapy, progressing to the ITEC Level 4 Diploma for peels and microneedling and eventually to the Level 6 Award in Mesotherapy.
