LEVEL 4 AWARD IN THE INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE OF ASSESSMENT PROCESSES AND PRACTICES (RQF)
In every Ofqual regulated centre, the presence of an Internal Verifier (IV) is a vital element in maintaining and upholding the quality and standards specified by the awarding body. The IQA has the responsibility of ensuring that assessment and teaching practices align rigorously with the established standards and regulations approved by the awarding body. Collaborating closely with teachers, assessors, and centre staff, the IQA plays a crucial role in implementing the assessment process, learning materials and ensuring that the assessor upholds consistency and fairness in assessments. The IQA provides valuable support to the EQA to continually maintain the quality of teaching and learning within the centre.
